I don’t know, I’ve literally been paid money to help men with their profiles but it still feels like there’s a lot of randomness to me. Or, as you mentioned, noise from the low-probably event of an undesirable male getting right swipes at all.

Personally, I’ve had “success” with women out of all proportion to how undesirable I really am. But I can’t imagine what it’s like for people even less desirable than I am.

I was recently in a medium sized tourist saturated city and swiped for our days and got zero matches on Tinder. But like 10 on Bumble including a horny girl less than half my age who came to my hotel room. Weird.

Anyway, interesting thoughts, thanks.

On the "don't right swipe too much" point, what's your advice for men who are not going to be in the top % of attractiveness/appeal? Only swipe right on women who you judge to be "on your level" of attractiveness?
